Infertility is one of the most humbling experiences a couple or individual can go thru. My husband and I know this all too well. Giving Hope, specifically, Cresta Davila, is helping us cope and build our family. Cresta, is one of the kindest individuals my husband and I have come across during this whole process and it has been a very long process for us.

I found the Giving Hope Egg Donation Agency after several months of searching for the right donor. By this time, I had worked with numerous agencies, which helped me recognize and appreciate the difference in working with Giving Hope.

I wanted to thank you and all of those at Giving Hope for your assistance during this donor egg cycle. This was our first experience using egg donation, and we were very pleased with how the entire cycle was handled. We looked at more than 1000 donor profiles on more than 30 donor websites before settling on this donor with Giving Hope. We had read positive recommendations about your agency, and we felt Giving Hope had a quality database and reasonable agency and donor fees. All of this factored into our decision to use Giving Hope. We searched for an egg donor for almost a year and thought that finding a suitable woman was all we had to do. Having gone through the process, we realise in hindsight that finding the donor was only one of two essential things - the other was finding the right agency. Obviously the choice of donor is paramount but having a reliable, efficient service behind that donor is essential.

Giving Hope stood out a mile all along. Every email in the early days was answered quickly, graciously and patiently. No pressure was ever put on us after any of our initial enquiries, but rather it became apparent that they were there for us if we needed them. Once we chose our donor (who incidentally has also been outstanding every step of the way) I was a little afraid to be handed over to a completely different member of the Giving Hope staff, a complete stranger after the comfortable relationship I had made with our initial coordinator.

I need not have worried. Her service was every bit as efficient and at times she was 'on the ball' more than our doctor's office, seeing a gap in arrangements and fixing it before there was ever a problem.

We were using a surrogate in one state and a donor in a distant state so there were lots of logistical arrangements to organise with travel, accommodation, car hire etc. This was done seamlessly and there was never a problem.

Since we are in the UK, we felt a little out of control of the entire affair and it was vital that we had an agency who was able to keep it all together for us. Giving Hope did this and more. We can highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation if we ever repeat this process.

I don't even know where to begin or how to begin to say thank you for the guidance, help and care that my husband and I have received during our journey to start a family. From the very first contact with Geri; she was kind, loving, almost like I had my friend go through the process with us of deciding to use an agency and then picking our donor. She has such a lovely spirit that I felt sad when we moved on in the process and would no longer be working with her. The sadness did not last more than a minute because then the work with Becky began, and she was equally as awesome. She figuratively held our hand throughout the whole process and never grew tired of the incessant questions or emails. She also made me feel that we were going through this with a friend. For anyone who is reading this and contemplating using an agency, I strongly suggest that you will not find a better group to work with as well as one with such high integrity; they stand by what they say they are going to do from beginning to end. Kelly Doolin was amazing through this whole journey. She is extremely professional, yet cared a great deal about how we were doing every step of the way. It was reassuring to know that she was there for anything we needed and always called us back or e-mailed us back promptly if we had questions. Finding out that I could not have another baby biologically was a heavy blow to us, but Kelly made it so much easier to deal with our situation.
